Op 4, 5 en 6 juni 2010 vindt het festival Open Dans plaats in LPII, Wilhelminakade 326, Rotterdam.
- Open Dans is een uniek Rotterdams festival waarbij een mix van stijlen, disciplines en mogelijkheden samen komen.
- Open Dans geeft nog onontdekte, verrassende dansmakers een podium.
- Open Dans is drie dagen lang een explosie van genres van modern tot hiphop en van tap tot buikdans.

Programma bijna definitief
In de afgelopen 2 weken is het programma bijna verdubbeld met een groot aantal erg goede acts. Eind mei wordt het tijdschema en het definitieve programma bekend gemaakt.
De nieuwe namen zijn: 2move Dance Company, Ans Kanen & Manuela Raurich & Michal Osowski & Ivo Vrouwe, Dattah &L, Godgiven, Indirah Tauwnaar, Movementalist, Rotterdam All Stars, Sara Erens / 3D&T, The Uzume, The Young Urban Art Dance Company.

After the successful first edition in 2009, we are very eager to organize the next edition, that will be bigger, better and more beautiful.

Open Dans is a festival for:
- Dance and related art; choreography, dance art, dance video, dance installation, dance workshops, dance jam, dance improvisation, site-specific dance
- All genres of dance, including but not limited to modern, tango, hiphop, fusion, tap, etcetera
- Finished pieces, try-out or work-in-progress
We are looking for:
- Urgency, choreography that needs to be made and shown to the public
- Enthusiasm, commitment, ambition
- People with strong connection to Rotterdam
- A diverse program, all genres and forms
- Young makers, who do not have had many opportunities to show their work
- Works that can be adjusted to the sober technical conditions of the festival
